Electronic Foosball

Since foosball is a hands-on game, there really isn’t anything that can be considered “electronic foosball”. Foosball is a manually played game. As of this date, there are no known foosball video games.

With regards to the term electronic, foosball tables can sometimes have electric scoreboards. These tables tend to be a bit more expensive because of the electronics. There are aftermarket kits available that allow you to convert your manual scoring into an electronic scoring unit.

The aftermarket electronic foosball kits are relatively easy to install. They operate by creating an invisible beam of light between the edges of the goal. When the ball passes through the beam, the computer gives a point to the side that scored.
